A delegation led by Chinese Ambassador Peng Jingtao to Benin paid a visit to Ningbo.

The Chinese Ambassador to Benin, Peng Jingtao, and his entourage arrived in Ningbo on October 24, 2023, and were received by the Ningbo Municipal Foreign Affairs Office. Li Guanding, Deputy Mayor of Ningbo, met and hosted a banquet for them. Wang Weigang, Chairman of our company, accompanied them.

On October 24th in the afternoon, Chinese Ambassador to Benin Peng Jingtao, Deputy Director of the Fifth Division of the African Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China, and other officials visited our company to participate in the "Business Dialogue on Sino-Benin Economic and Trade Cooperation" hosted by the Ningbo Bureau of Commerce. The dialogue was attended by Deputy Director General of the Economic Department of the Ningbo Bureau of Commerce Jiang Lianggen, Director of the International Economic and Trade Cooperation Department of the Ningbo Bureau of Commerce Zhong Shan, and Director of the International Cooperation Department (Europe and Africa) of the Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office Ye Kejun, as well as representatives from 15 Sino-Benin economic and trade enterprises.

General Economist of Ningbo Bureau of Commerce, Jiang Lianggen, reported to Ambassador Peng the trade and investment situation of Ningbo enterprises in Benin in 2023. Wang Weigang, Chairman of Tianshi International, reported to Ambassador Peng the main work of the Sino-Beninese Economic and Trade Development Center since its establishment and operation in 2008, which has played a platform role in promoting investment and trade of Ningbo enterprises and other regional enterprises, and has played a role in promoting the development of friendly cities between the two countries, vocational education and training cooperation projects, etc. He also reported the direction of the Center's work in the future: actively introducing China's successful experience in urbanization, industrialization, informationization and financial systems into Benin and West Africa, increasing investment and actively practicing in the process of Benin and West Africa's development, achieving their own development while promoting the socio-economic development of the local area. Ambassador Peng expressed his approval of the relevant achievements of the Sino-Beninese Economic and Trade Development Center and hoped that the Center would strive for innovation in the future and make new and greater achievements and contributions to the economic and trade exchanges between China and Benin. Ningbo International's Ni Guoming, General Manager, accompanied the report.

In response to the problems, and on behalf of the Embassy expressed support for the investment and trade of enterprises in Beile-Africa, the legitimate interests of private enterprises are also national interests, 

and the Embassy will spare no effort to provide support and help for the problems encountered in Beile-Africa investment.
