The leaders of Teams Group received a delegation of Benin mayors
At noon on September 1, Chairman Wang Weigang and General Manager Ni Guoming of Teams Group, together with Director Ye Kejun of Ningbo Foreign Affairs Office and Deputy Director Pan of Shaoxing Friendship Association, hosted a banquet for Benin Mayor's delegation in Lujiazui, Shanghai. The parties reviewed the successful cooperation experience in the past and looked forward to the bright vision for the future.
The delegation visited Beijing, Yinchuan, and Shanghai, meeting with the China Association for International Friendly Contact and the Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office along the way. Meanwhile, the delegation also visited numerous tourist attractions and businesses, including the Forbidden City, Huawei, the Xinning New Look Exhibition Center, the Bund, Yu Garden, and the NIO car factory.
During the banquet, delegation members expressed that they had gained a lot from this trip, expressing amazement at the speed of development of Chinese enterprises and admiration for the profound historical and cultural heritage of the Chinese nation. They expressed hope to have the opportunity to visit China again and sincerely invited Chinese enterprises to come to Benin to discuss investment and cooperation, and jointly promote development.
At the same time, the Mayor of Abomey-Calavi, Ange-Léon Evariste Ahouanji, said: "Last year, I personally attended and witnessed the 10th anniversary celebration of the friendship between Ningbo City and Cotonou City. I highly appreciate the good cooperation between the two cities. Last month, I attended the opening ceremony of the China (West Africa) Commodity Fair with the Mayor of Cotonou City and the Chinese Ambassador to Benin. The fair was well organized and achieved fruitful results. These cooperations effectively promoted the development of Sino-Beninese friendship. Therefore, as the Mayor of Abomey-Calavi, I also want to find a sister city in the vicinity of Ningbo. That is why we are here in China today, and we have been warmly received. I sincerely wish peace and prosperity for Benin and China! Thank you!"
The parties concluded the lunch in a warm and friendly atmosphere and reached further consensus on future cooperation, looking forward to a better future for both sides.
